DOLCE & GABBANA MAKEOVER BY ARTIST KAREN DAVID
Dear Jackie,
Don't you think Dolce & Gabbana should ask Karen David to customize their images for next season's lookbook?
That would be so chic.

BACARDI, LIME, AND YOUR FAVORITE SPORTING EVENT
Dear Jackie,
You have been working so hard on your new book. Why not take the day off, relax, and watch your favorite sporting event?
There is so much going on these days with the football, the races, the tennis, and there is probably some creepy golf tournament somewhere.
Myself, I'm heading across town to Wimbledon to catch some up-close and in-person Nadal action.
Grab a couple refreshing lime cocktails with a friend- its paradise!

JACKIE COLLINS FAVORITE PAINTER, BERYL COOK, EXHIBITS AT TATE BRITAIN
Dear Jackie,
You won't believe this but Beryl Cook is finally in an exhibition at the Tate Britain! Remember back in 2008 when I interviewed you and asked you about the fact that Beryl Cook was excluded from the Tate, though her work is very popular with the British public. Do you think its just a coincidence that she is finally included in the high art establishment now that she is dead?
It could also be due to the fact that the Tate curators have put together a noteworthy exhibition, "Rude Britannia: British Comic Art" and finally Beryl Cook's paintings work within the exhibitions brightly colored walls. I can tell you that there are some people in the Tate that are moving in a highly progressive curatorial direction and giving recognition to artists and movements who have in the past been considered too low brow. I mean, what is taste anyway? And why bother with it?
Jackie, you have obviously recognized Beryl Cook's talents for years before she was critically cool and kudos to you that your LA home is completely covered in Beryl Cook paintings. We can see your exquisite collection clearly in this picture and in this picture. Well, Jackie, it's only going to be a matter of time before the Tate Britain is contacting you to borrow some of your collection for the overdue Beryl Cook Retrospective!

JACKIE COLLINS CUPCAKE STAND Art Car Boot Fair 2010
Dear Jackie,
We had a fabulous turn out for the Jackie Collins Cupcake stand yesterday...I of course did not make it myself (East-London is just too scary and far away from the comfort of my Park Lane hotel suite) but i did as the good President, sent a live message on Sarah's on-site plasma screen.
You should have seen the screaming crowds fighting for the goodies...
Wish you were here,
D

CALL ME RE: JACKIE COLLINS CAR BOMB CUPCAKE RECIPE
Dear Jackie,
Today I'm in the kitchen baking 'Jackie Collins Car Bomb Cupcakes' for Sunday's Art Car Boot Fair. Everything is going swimmingly except I accidentally spilled my cocktail on the recipe! Oops I guess I had one too many cocktails.
Anyway, now there are illegible ink smudges so I can't see the proportions. For the ganache filling do I add 2 teaspoons of whiskey or 2 cups? I added 2 teaspoons and it was definitely not strong enough so then I added 2 cups of whiskey and I figure that should do the trick. Boy it really has a kick!
Have you received my answer phone message?
Call me!
Sarah
