I HEART JACKIE COLLINS LIMITED EDITION PRINT
Dear Jackie,
Yinka Shonibare thought my print "I Heart Jackie Collins," was a great inclusion in his first installment of Yinka's Guest Editions. I was one of five artists he chose to be part of the collection. The other four artists are Douglas Fishbone, Bob & Roberta Smith, Mary Jacoob, and Bjorn Veno. The complete collection is an edition of 25, and on sale online or at Yinka Shonibare's Guest Project space in East London. Do you want one of my prints? I will be sure to send you an artist's proof. I think you will love it. It's rather lusciously printed on glossy metallic paper as if it came straight out of a heavenly magazine. I do hope you hang it in your gorgeous home.
Mwah!
Sarah

CHRISTIAN MARCLAY'S 24 HOUR SCREENING OF 'THE CLOCK' @ BRITISH ART SHOW 7
Dear Jackie,
You know how in London we have The Big Ben? Well that's because pocket watches are totally out of fashion. But this month there is another way to find out GMT and it's at the British Art Show 7, at Christian Marclay's screening of The Clock. Marclay assembled 24 hours of footage from other films so that at any given point when you see a clock in his piece, alas it be telling accurate time. And this Saturday is a very special occasion because Londoners are able to view Christian Marclay's 24-hour piece all night long. So if you should happen to be stumbling around Southbank after seeing a film at imax or a show at Old Vic, Marclay's film is rocking around the clock, and you could just pop in there to check the time.
Down with pocket watches!
Yours,
Sarah
